FALCON FLASH
Dateline:  Cleveland, Ohio
June 3, 2008

Nest monitors, Mr. and Mrs. Saladin, have sent along more information on Tiger’s fledge.  They saw him make several successful flights.  They watched him fly to the roof and report that “Buckeye actually followed him over and as soon as Tiger touched down Buc was above him and actually touched his back with his feet”.

Meanwhile, back at the nesting ledge, Mr. and Mrs. Saladin report that “Spirit … was definitely the most active today, doing the most flapping and taxiing on the ledge and doing little hop-flights”.  Will she be the next to fly?
SW and Buckeye are very attentive parents and watch over their youngsters carefully.  Here is a picture of Tiger with his mother.  He was calling to her – probably requesting that she bring him something to eat.  The parents continue to feed their young and will begin to teach them to hunt after they have fledged.
Tiki and Thriller were busy doing what peregrine juveniles do…….
